I went to Scottsdale for work and was able to spend the weekend with Kelli, Shawn, Cole & Kenleigh! Thank you to the Blubaums for a fun weekend with great friends!

New Year's Day Lunch

Aaron, Jordan and Alicia (Aaron's Girlfriend) had a 4 1/2 hour layover on their way to Maui. We picked them up at the airport and went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch.

Girl's Night Out

For my birthday Jeanne, Allison & Becca took me to dinner at Twokoi. It is a sushi restaurant in downtown Tacoma. We had a fabulous time! I realize this post is a little late since my birthday was in October but better late then never, right?

Girl's Weekend

I went to Arizona (Chandler to be exact) for Girl's Weekend 2009 at Kelli Blubaum's house! We had so much fun. On Saturday there was a baby shower for Kelli who will be welcoming a baby girl the beginning of September. Kelli & Shawn just recently bought a new house so it was fun to see their new place. We enjoyed floating in their pool too! Cole even made a few appearances before & after enjoying a boy's weekend with Daddy at a local resort.

Happy Birthday Beenn!!

Today is Jeanne's (aka Beenn) Birthday!! To celebrate we had dinner at the Grayson's house. I realized after the fact that I never took a picture with the birthday girl - just the kids. Guess that is what happens as we get older.

For my 101st post I thought I would reflect back on my 5 best friends from junior high/high school. It amazes me to think that I have known these 5 for over half my life.  Jennie - 21 years, Bri & Allison - 19 years, Jeanne - 17 years and Amie - 16 years. I feel so blessed to be so close with all of them still to this day.

Scottsdale

I went to Scottsdale, AZ for a week for meetings with work.  I stayed at the FireSky Resort and my meetings went well.  On Friday, 11/7 my former colleague from Russell, Julie Graham visited me.  She and her family moved to Arizona in August.  It was wonderful to see her.

Friday night Kelli picked me up and I stayed with the Blubaums for the weekend.  Kelli and I went and saw Kathy Griffin (the comedian from My Life on the D List - not to be confused with Kathy Lee Gifford).  She was really funny.  Saturday we went shopping and to lunch with Cole (who just turned 1 on November 3).  Saturday night Kelli, Shawn and I played Scene It.  What a fun game!!  I won the first game and Kelli the second.  Sorry Shawn... maybe next time... DVD Master.  Sunday we relaxed and I learned about Fantasy Football.  Shawn is the commissioner of his team.  I had a fabulous visit with the Blubaums and hope to see them again very soon.

When I was uploading pictures from Europe to Mom & Dad's computer I left my memory chip in their computer.  Of course I did not realize this until I arrived in Scottsdale so I was only able to take 4 pictures.  Here they are...

You might be wondering where is the 4th picture.  Well Kelli and I took two pictures.  You always have to have a back-up photo.  That is why there are only 3 pictures posted.  I posted the best one of the two of us.

They will kill me for posting these pictures...but here there are.  We participated in the Human Race on 8/31.  For those who don't know the Human Race is where everyone around the world is suppose to walk or run a 10K .  We did just over a 10K and it started pouring when we were almost done so that is why we are all wet.

Girls Night Out

Julie & Nancy left Meeting Services so we decided to hit the town to celebrate them. Julie is heading to Arizona with her family and she will be missed. Nancy thankfully only switched departments and now works on the 8th floor. She is also missed but at least we all still work with her, just in a different capacity.
