The Little German Boy in Lederhosen

Becca's Mom bought lederhosen for Wes.  He wore it proudly on Christmas Eve.  I took these pictures from John & Becca's blog.  I just love him in the adorable outfit.  He looks like he enjoyed wearing the lederhosen.  Can't say he will love these pictures when he is older (great blackmail material).  There is a photo of John wearing lederhosen from when he was little.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... Part 2

It just keeps on snowing in the great Pacific Northwest. I have about a foot in my backyard. I took some new pictures this morning. It is really beautiful but is has created a mess for the holiday travelers and those who are working during the holidays.

This tree limb is touching the ground.

Here is an action shot of it snowing last night.

Wes signing "stars."

Wes saying blueberry. You can guess what he was eating.

Sorry this video is sideways.  I thought I could turn it but I can't.  I like to call this Dancing with Trains.

Fun times with Wes

Becca & Wes came for a visit on their way to spend Christmas in Kentucky.  Wes is now 17 months old.  He is constantly on the move and talking up a storm.  We can't understand everything but he sure has a lot to say.  We had a wonderful time with both of them and can't wait to see them again.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of Wes.
Wes LOVES the Wiggles DVD.  His favorite song is Toot, Toot, Chugga, Chugga, Big Red Car.  When you put on the DVD he says Toot, Toot until you fast forward to that specific song.  I permanently have it stuck in my head because we listened to it on repeat so many times.

Look at those big blue eyes.  I think he looks so much like John.

Love this outfit!!  So adorable!!
Becca taught him sign language and in this photo he is signing "more."
He loves balloons. We went to the mall & Red Robin and collected balloons for Wes along the way.

He sure is a boy...he already has a "mancave."

It snowed during their visit and we scooped up a bowl of snow for Wes.  He enjoyed eating it while sitting on the kitchen table.

He fell asleep on me.  Oh sweet baby.
Wes signing "stars."
He also loved Santa.
When you say... Santa says... He will respond - "Ho, Ho, Ho."

Wes is very good at handing out presents...
and opening them.
Wes is calling Daddy on the cell phone while sitting on a present.
Look at that belly.
Wes loves the dogs. McKenzie was so good with him and let him sit/lay on her.

Kenzie even shared her bed with Wes.
Look at how pregnant Becca is...
she must be preggers with twins... Just kidding.
Her camera is under her coat making her look much further along then she really is.
