Luxor / Luxor Temple

The hotel posted our names on the TV when we entered our guest room.

The view from our hotel room.

We thought this was the hotel pool, but later found out it was a Muslim only pool.

Sunset over the Nile.

On our romantic Horse & Carriage Ride.

With our horse Cinderella.

Luxor Temple at night.

The moon looked amazing.

Christian's painted murals over the temple hieroglyphics.

This is a temple drawing of the God of Fertility. The story goes that all the men in the village went off to war and left one man behind to look after the women. When the men returned all the women were pregnant. In order to prevent this from happening again they turned the man into a God. As you can tell by the black mark this scene has been photographed a lot.

WARNING: Jenny & I are really goofy in the next few photos. We were trying to act like the statues we were posing next to.
