I made it! My flight from DC to Copenhagen was delayed 3 hours due to weather. We sat on the runway waiting for air traffic control to reopen the flight routes to Europe. I think they were being extra cautious due to what happened with the Air France flight. It wasn't too bad though they gave us drinks and we watched movies. I missed my flight to Stockholm but they rebooked without any problems. It is rainy, windy & cold here in Stockholm - just like winter back home. I can't believe I left 90 degree weather to end up in the rain. Oh well that did not stop me from sightseeing today and I will be back out there again tomorrow. I leave Saturday morning for St. Petersburg - hoping for no rain there.

Hailey Lauren Kendall

I am thrilled to announce that I have become an Auntie again!! John & Becca are now parents to a beautiful daughter - Hailey, born on Friday, May 22 in Germany.  I can't wait to meet her in June when I am over in Germany.

Wes is still figuring out the whole baby sister thing.  With all the hype surrounding the new arrival Wes has decided to move in with Morgan.

Momma Bird...

I was working in my backyard and I noticed that a bird flew out of my wheelbarrow planter.  I had to check it out since I had experienced birds building their nests in my planters before.  Sure enough there is a nest with baby birds.

Here is Momma Bird.  She was not happy with me taking pictures of her babies.  She chirped like crazy trying to get me to leave her offspring alone.

Happy Birthday Beenn!!

Today is Jeanne's (aka Beenn) Birthday!! To celebrate we had dinner at the Grayson's house. I realized after the fact that I never took a picture with the birthday girl - just the kids. Guess that is what happens as we get older.
