Amsterdam, Netherlands - September 28 & 29

This was the first thing I saw when I arrived in amsterdam... what a pretty sunrise.
It took me a little bit to figure out that these were all bikes.
Amsterdam Central Train Station.
The canals throughout Amsterdam were beautiful.

I loved the architecture.
There are tons of houseboats on the Amstel River.
More houseboats.
These hooks are used to help people move in and out of the townhouses.
Here is someone moving out.
This was a huge chessboard.  Local people were playing.

I went to the Anne Frank House.  It was really amazing to see.  No photography was allowed inside the house.
Exterior of the Anne Frank House.

Everyone bikes around Amsterdam.

Three people on one bike...
Look closely...  The girl was standing on the back of the bike with her arms around her father.

I thought it sign was funny.
The flag of Amsterdam.
Red Light District Tour... Here are some windows...

I went to the Floating Flower Market.
They may look like real tulips but they are actually made out of wood.

This is a side shot of the Floating Flower Market.
I took these from the top of a mall.

Windmill...
And Brewery... What a combination.

Loes from the Russell Amsterdam office took me out to dinner.
We also went to an adorable town called Volendam.
It is also a fishing village.

Brugges, Belgium - September 30

I loved Brugges.  The architecture was gorgeous.  Brugges is called the Venice of the North.  Enjoy the pictures.

This is the Bell Tower.  I climbed all 309 steps to the top.
View from the top of the Bell Tower.

This Michelangelo's Madonna & Child.

This is what I looked like most of the day... It rained so I had to have the hood up.
